Received the Licenciatura in Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2004, and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and Automatic Control in 2010 from UNED awarded with a special prize for the best Thesis.
During the Ph.D. he performs some study stays on the Institute for Systems and Robotics, Instituto Superior Técnico (ISR/IST).
Currently, Dr. Chaos holds an Associate Professor position with the Department of Computer Science and Automatic Control (DIA) of the Computer Engineering School of UNED University.
His research interests include nonlinear control, tracking, point stabilization, and path following of under-actuated vehicles, the stability of switched systems, machine vision, and robotics.
It has obtained a positive evaluation of tho 6-year research period, in addition to two a 5-year teaching periods and three 3-year teaching periods.
